Great shots, Anthony, thanks. Looks like things are perfect right now. I really miss WP. It's been a couple of years. You've got me itching for some Fraser Valley fun now.

Man, I love trail pics like that. I went to Winter Park once to ride when visiting the Denver area and after picking up my reserved rental bike and donning some gear I got in line for my first lift-accessed ride EVER. I was giddy with excitement. A whole day of blasting trails! Then it started to rain and they shut the lift down. For the whole day. Returned the bike for half my money back after waiting for about 4 hours. The next day was perfect, btw, but we had to leave. Double Never did ride there and still haven't hit some lift-accessed service anywhere (pickings are slim in AZ).
But I digress! Your pics make me excited for my next visit!
Edit: Well, I've just enlightened myself as to the legacy of Anthony Sloan. I'm a recent member of MTBR and it looks like I joined at about the time of his passing, so I didn't get the enjoyment of the anticipation of his posts. I was following the passion sticky and clicked on a link, not even noticing that it was so dated when I replied, or that the sticky was in memorial of his adventures. This must be a testament to his adventures and love for sharing as I was sucked into the first thread I clicked! I think countless hours will now be spent by myself going over these images, all of them incredibly inspiring. If I can be remembered so reverently when I pass, then I know I've lived a good life! Because it looks like he had one hell of one! Condolences to the family but be aware that his passion clearly lives on!
FIP: Eternally.

My guess is his rides, pics, and passion are even more intense now. He is just not posting here. Too bad for us.

Indeed.
Wow, that was quite a surprise, seeing that post again. I consider my time with Anthony to have been a precious gift, one that I often reflect upon. You just resurrected his post of what I believe was our very first ride together. I smiled and teared-up simultaneously when I saw it.
Enjoy his litany of passion.

Dag Nabbit; do yourself a favor and search for his posts. They are truly as good as they get.
I'm a Tribe member and I always appreciated his passion posts not just for the posts themselves, which were outstanding, but also b/c he never pushed Yeti bikes. It was always about the ride, the experiences, the people. Heck, most casual followers never even knew he worked for Yeti.
We rode together early this year a day before a Yeti demo in Phoenix. About 4 or 5 of us made the ride, most on Yeti's, if not all. It was a great time and he took some great pics, as usual.
RIP A.S.
