What's with the Karate Monkey fork with a Niner logo? Nice bike, though.

I don't think that was a KM fork. No V-Brake Bosses, and the dropouts look different. It looks like a niner original--probably made by the same guys that make the KM fork ...

KM fork? Maybe, maybe not. At the very least the canti bosses have been removed and fork painted.

But one straight blade unicrown fork pretty much looks like another.

what's up with that thing that looks like a Heineken cap on top of the Thomson - some type of custom topcap or something or did someone just strategically place a big heiny bottle cap there?

Very true. Those fork legs look mighty familiar, though.

Surely that last pic can't be a functional rotor, looks more like a MadMax-inspired weapon of some sort. You know - run into a guy riding next to you, shred his leg type of thing? Weird.

It is a prototype to show what they can do. They have a couple different rotor designs and when I am done resizing the 100 photos I took today I will post the other rotor pics.

Niner will be offering a steel fork, as posted on here befor, with pic. It looked taller than the KM fork, and so does this one, at least to me.

Goddam, I'm on my 4th mug of Peet's already and feeling cantankerous as hell this morning, trying to rile up the Turneristas.

As the most vocal person on the 29er board who has asked and asked for a 29er Turner you will not get much out of me. My 5 spot rides freakin awesome and I hoped to get a 29" version of it. It seems we are going to get something close........ but it does not have a horst link. Some cant tell the difference but I can.

I'm guessing the 29er will be several months away before we see anything and by then there should be some reviews of the new TNT system. I will not buy one just for the sake of it, it has to perform.

Looks like they sell them at Niner and you can add your cap of choice?:

That's a nice little touch. What does "YAWYD" stand for? "You Are What You Do?" "You Always Wanted Yellow Duckies?" "What Would Jesus Do?" "North American Man-Bike Love Association?"

Same here! I love that green. Of course, I would ... being GlowBoy, after all. For the good of my fiscal (and physical?) health, it's a good thing the small Niners are just a hair too long for me in the TT, especially with the SIR 9 on the way.

Not a fan of all the polished aluminum parts though. Unless they come with fake-woodgrain accents to complete the look.
