beautiful build!

that's a great looking setup.

how do you like the 180mm cranks?

I am 6' and have 175mm cranks on a 20" KM and have been banging the pedals a little bit. I'm considering trying 170mm to see how they feel.

Thanks

i'm a little taller at 6' 3. I do notice i hvae to be more careful with the ends of the cranks as i've caught them once or twice. The BB on the KM is lower than it probably should be but i've gotten used to it.. The 180s provide me with lots of leverage.

When i test rode a monkey from a shop it had some severly cheap parts on it and i would venture to say it weighed in the neighborhood of 28-29. I didn't notice the weight at all of it on the trail to be honest for the most part. I wanted another SS race bike since i sold my 1x1 a little while ago and this fit the ticket. Its not a super light build (that wasn't the point) but its not heavy by any means. According to the fish scale its mid 24's. Not bad..

What size is you monkey and how tall/big are you? I'm trying to decide what size frame to buy without actually seeing the bike in person. I'm 5'10".

Thanks
