If your bike was a car... what would it be?

Here's what I imagine my two machines would equate to in the motorsports world.

Hrm. if my bike was a car, it'd be a...... bike!

heh. My bike IS my car! W00t!

Of course if I needed to haul stuff, I'd get me a BOB.

I get a real kick out of the comparison to an ariel atom. Are you saying that you can get your bike from 0-60 in 2.whatever seconds? heh.

Yeah im impressed with alot of the comparisons people have made, i think my favorite so far is the single speed Surly compared to the tractor with the monkey.

Did you ever race for FSU? I'm not racing this year, but if you raced last year, we probably raced together.

my ibis alibi would be a vintage jeep CJ

the santa cruz superlight would be one of those early 2000's 4WD toyota 4 Runners (did they make them in 2002?) with a lift kit and big fat tires.

my schwinn cyclocross bike would be a ford escort rally car--an on road-off road econobox pumped up to be a do it all hot rod.

Seriously, here's another bike i built last year. I dont have it anymore, but it was a fun project. I'll compare it to a sleeper truck. I wanted to race it in this crit race in San Ann last year cuz the coarse was nothing but potholes and crap. They wouldnt let me though.

Textbook barrel-roll,huh?

Nah, no where near that spectacular, but possibly as painful,my bike lacks the rollcage and seatbelts.

Mine would be more like an endo backed up with an uncoordinated cartwheel.

One thing that is very similar would be the crowd,in my case, other bikers,be it freinds or total strangers, witnessing the moment.
