Anybody Riding a 1X9 Setup?

Hey guys,
Just curious if anyone on here has run a 1X9 setup on a 29er and if so, what crankset would you suggest?

Been riding a 1x9 29er since Feb of this year. Using Shimano XT cranks. Replaced the XT middle ring with a Blackspire Mono Veloce middle ring.

Is it the Stylo 1.1 ?? Can you post a pic? Someone had mentioned to me in passing that there is a tensioner you need to keep the chain from slipping..any ideas?

If Jenson USA still have the Shimano LX crankes for 100 bucks, that would be one of the better deals out there for a good quality crankset. I have run a couple of different setups with my 1x9, but my favorite has been this chainguide, nice, cheap, and decent quality. However, you really do not need to have any type of device. Go check out the 1x9 thread in the Drivetrain forum for a few good ideas.

Riding 1x9 on my 29er with XT cranks using regular XT middle ring and a Spot Brand bash ring on the outside. Be SURE to use a jump stop to keep the chain from jumping off the inside. Check it out at http://www.gvtc.com/~ngear/ they're cheap and very effective. Once you get it adjusted just right you will have NO problems.

How flexy are those Stylo cranks for a bigger rider? I'm looking to upgrade from an FSA V-drive crank which has noticeable flex and put it on a flexier frame.
