650B in PHX?

Who is using a 650B in PHX, AZ? I'm looking to test fit a 650 to see if it will fit my frame in the rear. Currently running a 69.

Which frame are you thinking about putting it on? With the 26" wheel on how much clearance do you have between the tire and the chainstay and seat stay yoke?

I have an 1" of clearance. It will be close if it does work. It is for my Fetish.
After some thought, I might just build a new race bike.

Not quite Pheonix, but Steve Garro of Coconino Cycles has built a few 650b bikes now, including for his wife. I am sure he'd have a set of wheels hanging around.

Cheers,

KP
