poking around 3 stages...
went up to 3 stages on sunday late afternoon... had to take advantage of the nice weather.
did some exploring...
as usual the signature of atv's...
on the other hand a nice birch section
multiple lines possibilities down this section with drops off the rocks... on can hope.
a cave...
starting to get dark out...
sunset while loading the car...

Holy giganta-photo!
Anyhoo, the Misfit Anti-Race will be rolling through there on Saturday. I can hardly wait. I haven't ridden up there since last year!

Haven't ridden 3 Stage in ages. Liked the spot a lot though.
What's the difference between a Misfit anti-race vs. an anti-Misfit race? Inquiring minds want to know.

One requires sausage suits and one doesn't.

Isn't that a matter of context depending on whether you're examining the entire population, or only the cycling community? The helpful lady crossing the street in front of me last week informed me that men stopped wearing codpieces centuries ago, or at least they did outside of the world of glam rock bands. Who knew?
(bracing myself for Garage Monster to insert codpiece image into this thread any moment now)

Interesting that someone would schedule a bike race during hunting season in an area that allows hunting.

well,
it is not really a race. It is an anti-race. Secondly, we had a hell of a time convincing the organizer not to schedule it in Afghanistan.
Therefore we are happy to ride in Canada, albeit during the hunting season. Truth be told, it is a duck hunting season and the only person that can be mistaken for a duck or a goose or anything similar, is Tom... Hence, he'll be leading the pack.
Had it been a bear hunting season, that would have been much scarier.
