Looks interesting, I'll have to add this to my calendar.
I see this is passing through Waseca. I recently moved to Waseca and wondered what roads you plan on using to get from Medford to Waseca and then Waseca to Mankato. I'm always looking for new routes to ride and am starting to figure out what roads to use and which ones to avoid.

I have scouted a series of roads that go north and east from just on the south-east side of the lake in Waseca. I plan to go over and finalize the route some time in the next week or so. Originally this was the route http://www.routeslip.com/routes/21565 , but it lacked gravel from Medford through Waseca and on to Mankato.

course update
Not that this ride/race recieved an incredible amount of interest here, but I thought I would pass along an update anyway. The final course has been determined and that information is available at almanzo100.com. Also a reminder that this event will take place again next year on or around the same weekend. Cheers.

Very tempting to hit this rather than the Kanza 2-hundy but as I was obligated last year and missed the first riding of that now I will have to miss the first riding of this. I will plan on next year for sure! I have heard a few Iowa City guys talking about heading up, good luck with it.

Thanks and good luck with the Kanza. I'll look forward to seeing you next year. I just got confirmation from my oldest participant, 69 years young.
