Why Ross Schnell is cool...

Frutian and Pro mountain biker Ross Schnell is cool. Not only did he tear up the Norba circuit this year, but he did it with style. Go to ridewithnickmartin.blogspot.com and see the video of ross hitting the double on the ST course at Snowmass Nationals. Do you think and other XC racers hit em? No.

I remember back when Ross

.... was only a really, really, really, really fast, and really really really really skilled rider. Now he's a whole bunch more "really". And he's a nice guy, too.

I heard they call him "Rad Ross." I think Rocket would be a better handle for the man.

And, ironically Ross' last name of Schnell means fast in German...as in "Mach Schnell," even though it sounds more like "snail." Is that ironic too?

While we are discussing names; Let's jus replace the name cool with Ross and be done with it. Who else can wear that shiz and still look sweet?

Yup

I met him shortly after he won the SSWC 09 and he a real nice guy - approachable and humble in spite of his wide-ranging skills. I would be stoked to ride at 5% of his skill level.

Exactly, same thing with Tinker Juarez, both are good peeps and yeah I wish I could ride at 5% too. It blows me away to see stuff that Tinker middle rings up that would kill me in granny ring.
