So, I am new to MTBR forums and thought I would throw up some fun photos as an introduction.

This happened to my girlfriend while riding Papago. We were descending that long hill that runs almost parallel to McDowell. I didn't see it since she was behind me, but somehow she lost it and went down on her knee. Turned around after hearing her screaming. Not a fun day to say the least.

The photos were taken in the emergency room while the nurse spent 30 minutes digging red gravel out (camera phone so not best quality). I ended up staring at this hamburger for 2 hours while we waited for the doctor to stitch it up. This is the reason I wear my Kyle Strait's on every ride now.

So, if you see a tall, lanky, dorky SOB on the trail still learning to ride his Ferrous, tell him you like the knee photos.
