Yasusu shock eyelets twisted new out of the box. Is this F'd?

    Yasusu BRCP-102 - Imgur

I bought a new rear shock for my 04 spec FSR XC because I'm concerned with my Float R wont be up to the task after I install the bdet link (which is now 2 months in waiting)

So I bought a Yasusu BRCP-102 seeing as it was the only new model spring coil at a reasonable price that fit the dimensions and the very few reviews of it seemed to make it sound like a better option than a used 10 old shock.

Problems already, zero in the way of documentation. Online PDF dont show how to remove the spring (my order was also missing a 900lbs spring) AND THE EYELETS ARE NOT EVEN. Im still a noob so maybe thats normal on a spring coil and can be adjusted by the user so I dont know.

Any ideas? Is this fixable, is it normal, do I need to send it back?

Just turn them so the are in-line. Nothing to worry about. Once you get one end bolted in your frame, use a screwdriver through the other eyelet to move it around until you can get the shock bolt in.

Thanks for the quick and patient feed back. The next thing, is the preload adjuster wont turn at all. The spring is definitely very tightly secured already. In fact I'm not even sure its removable. I was supposed to get an extra 900lbs spring and that never came.
