X-Fusion O2 RCX vs Fox RP23 (with adaptive logic)

Ok maybe a long shot here wondering if any one has actually used both these shocks?

I am looking for another shock option for my Reign X. I am happy enough with the Fox RC2 but want something to throw on for more trail use.
    Whats this line for?

I contacted John a few weeks ago and he gave me a bargain deal on the 02 PVA. I must say it's an impressive shock and if the 02 RCX can get any better than this, I would go for it. There is a thread on singletracks where a guy from Banshee compares the 02 PVA with RP23, and he decides to keep the 02 shock. The X-fusion stuff is top notch, without the price tag of Fox. Period.

Is it as good as a push rp23? I am 225 pounds mind you, and not looking for a super plush ride, but also ride some trails in lockout mode. Thanks.

I have a Vivid Air on one of my bikes and my wife has an O2 RCX on hers (she likes it a great deal compared to the DHX air she had on a previous bike). The O2 has been problem free. No so for the Vivid Air. I know that doesn't help you with the RP23 vs O2 RCX but it is more reliable than some of its competitors. I think I will get a Vector Air (I have a Vector coil as well).

You've got a reign X, get a proper coil shock on that thing. You'll wonder why you didnt do it earlier!

Ah, I missed the RC2 part. No sense in downgrading a good bike.

A Vector Air is certainly not downgrading...
