    Will the Ario R

hold up to a clyde at 260lbs? At least for a while until I save up for a Pushed Monarch!

    Try this another way

Does anyone here have any experience with the Ario R? How bad or good was it? Anything special I need to look out for?

I have a brand new Ario R on my new frame:

    My new Ignition

My previous frame also had the Ario (the RL version). The new Ario feels way more plush than my older one I was actually very pleasantly surprised.....the old Fox Float RL fork that I installed on the frame now feels like crap compared to the plushness of the Ario.

I weigh about 165 lb. with full riding gear and one thing I noticed is I need to air it up to about 125-130 psi so that it doesn't sag too much.

As far as longevity, I previously had an Ario RL that started losing air after about 1 1/2 years of hard-riding....then it would sag even after I pumped it up way past the recommended PSI for my weight.....I recall pumping it up to almost 165 psi so that it would only sag 15% which is how I like it.

Only time will tell how long the new one will last......but I will be more careful about servicing it often (something I did not do on the old one)

Has everything to do with the bikes leverage ratio, not much to do with the shock.
