When does the Pike go away?

For 2010 Rock Shox has the Revelation adjustable between 130, 140, and 150 mm of travel. It's also available with a 20mm through axle, and has 32mm stanchions, just like the Pike. The Revelation is also available with the upgraded BB damper.

So, if the Revelation get's the same travel as the Pike, same axle as the Pike, same stanchions as the Pike, and has as good or better damper as the Pike, why is the Pike still around?

Doesn't the Pike offer coil versions, where as the RVL doesn't? Maybe that's why it's still around, though i guess then there's no need for the air Pikes.

because someone might still want a 140mm coil fork; the Rev is air only.
