I've just bought a 2012 specialized camber comp 29er that has the fox triad ii rear shock...
...me being me i can't help but fiddle... i decided the blue and red anodizing on the fox shocks wasn't to my liking so i've removed the anodizing but of course this meant i needed to take the red rebound adjuster knob off the triad.... when i put the rebound knob back up into the shock it wasn't seating fully...so without the side grub screw in (this grub screw holds it in place),i was twisting the knob round and round to try and seat it better... (the side grub screw prevents multiple full rotations, allowing only so many clicks each way) .... so i'm presuming i've now lost the base point for the rebound setting meaning either i have far too much rebound or far too little rebound?
can anyone confirm this please? looks like i've got to spend money on a brand new shock to sort this out!
