Totem Coil spring color changes?

Hi all-

I recently got a used Demo with a 2007 Totem coil, which came with the stock BLUE spring.
Since I weigh ~200 lbs I wanted to move to the heavier spring. I checked the 2007 manual and it called for the YELLOW spring for my weight, which is what I ordered.

When the part came in the shop noticed the spring was labeled as Soft. Hrm. So I checked doublechecked the 2007 parts list and confirmed Firm was Yellow.

Now I check the 2012 parts list and see that now in 2012 Firm is BLUE.

Can anyone confiorm Rock Shox changed spring colors on the fork somewhere between 07 and 11? WTF?

So did the fork internals change from 07 to 11 and the spring rate accordingly?
Or did the part color change, just to cause headaches?

I'm in a similar situation, trying to pick up an used '09/'10-ish coil Totem. SRAM tells me that the colors of the springs changed around '09-ish (why!?), while the part#s still remain the same.

Of course, if I'm picking up an used one and pulling out the spring to see which, I still never know if it's a if it's pre-'09 vs post-'09 "blue" in an '07 package, for example, depending on what/when the previous user did. (Not sure is a part# is stamped on the spring itself?) Might just need to get a new spring (per part#, not color), just to be 100%-sure...
