Thoughts? Fox rc4 -=or=- Fox Van RC (Pushed)

I'm changing my shock on an m9. I am coming from a vivid coil.
I had a pushed tuned shock on one of my other bikes and loved it.

What do you guysthink? of a pushed Van Rc over an rc4.

My buddy thinks this might be something to try as he is not too pumped on his rc4.

Im open to try anything.. even a pushed rc4 , but I can get the Van RC pushed and everything saving me $$$

Check out the Avalanche site for their tuning options on either shock.
Give Craig (the owner!) a call and see what he thinks.
    Speed sensitive vs, position dampening.

Zaner, pretty tough to beat the RC4 Factory Tuning System Elite!

The VAN-RC will save a few bucks for sure, but the valve system in the RC4 is superior.

Pretty tough to go wrong either way.

The position sensitive vs speed sensitive really depends on rider weight and style. That's why we offer our Elite system in both configurations depending on the application.

Didn't know you (Push) offered both types of tunes!

Darren thanks for the reply, its cool to get one direct on a forum. I'm tempted to go with the rc4 I might take my buddies off him. I take it you can beef up the mid stroke a little more for the VPP type suspension.
I'm really interested in learning how its done do you have a link to the process I couldn't find it on your site. I really liked my push tune I had before, I didn't know what was going on but it felt good!
