Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! Suspension servicing

How many fellow riders service their own suspension?

I have been thinking about giving it a crack on my RS revelation 409 forks and monarch 3.3 rear, does anybody have experience with these models that can give some good advice.

I do all other wrenching requirements myself no problems and this is the last frontier for me to try and get to grips with.

How easy do you find it?

    Any problems you have encountered?

Best place to buy service kits from?

Send them replies on in, i look forward to some good responses.
endorphin release, well what a reward for that little drug addict that dwells inside of all of us.

Your post would be better in the suspension forum.

    Jeff makes a good point.

I have tuned/serviced quite a few forks now. It was worrying popping over your first one, but once you have understood the basic principles it is quite easy to get what you want.

Most forks are quite easy to custom tune, and if you do it yourself you can dial it more and more through trial and error.
Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?

It's really easy to do basic servicing, especially if you have a passion for wrenching.
