Spraying GT85 on suspension parts and fork seals

Hi everyone, is it okay to spray GT85 onto suspension pivots and linkages as well as fork stanchions and seals after washing the bike? Heard somewhere that GT85 would prevent the rubber seals from drying up but there are also riders that steer clear from it. What does everyone think?

    Don't do it.

Your suspension and pivot bearings and lubricated on the inside, where it counts. Putting lube on the outside will only attract dirt. Just keep stuff clean and service your suspension on the recommended schedule. Replace pivot bearings as needed.

The bearings and seals will wear out well before you need to worry about the rubber drying and cracking.
