Spare / Upgrade shock for Devinci Dixon

I'm considering getting another shock for my Dixon. Mostly because I want to try something different than the RP23 and possibly get something that may have better performance on rough downhill trails. Any sugestions? I'm thinking maybe a Vivid air or Monarch Plus. A CCDB looks impressive but I'm concerned it may be too adjustable leaving me forever tweaking and unsatisfied.

Don't be turned off by the adjustments. It may take a bit more time to set up but it will be worth it. Having a Vivid Air (not on a Dixon though) I can attest it is a great shock. The Monarch Plus is supposed to be great. If you are concerned about a challenging setup then get the Monarch Plus. The Vivid Air and the CCDB require almost the same amount and type of setup.
