    sid vs sid B damper

I was wondering if anyone could please explain the difference in parts between the sid and sid b. I'm looking to replace the damper and there are two options and I am not quite sure what the difference is

Comp damper or rebound damper? SID B comp damper has slightly smaller sealing diameter at the bottom of the damper because SID B stanchions are thicker, so smaller on the inside. SID B comp damper can be used in SID fork with a slightly larger o-ring but not recommended. SID B rebound damper has a longer shaft to accomodate 120mm travel.
