    Shock spacer material

I want to machine a spacer to use in a shock where the spacer will be in the shock oil, so I need something which will hold up to the oil. I'd like to use Delrin acetal because it's strong and easy to work with. Can someone tell me what plastic would be best to use?

    Delrin is fine.

Teflon always seems too soft. High Density Polyethylene may be fine, LDPE is likely too soft.

I assume this is a shortening spacer.
