I have a 2007 Rockshox Tora 318 U-Turn. My weight has increased since I bought my bike and I want to put a firmer spring in. Seems like replacement springs for this particular fork are very hard to find. I can find them in the UK but I'd rather get them within the States if possible. Plan B is a U-Turn spring for a different fork that would work in mine. Seems like the Recon is pretty close, but I've looked and the spring assemblies still have different part numbers.
Does anyone know if there is another U-Turn fork that would share spring types with the Tora, or be close enough that it would fit? I'd even be willing to go with static travel and eliminate the U-Turn altogether if that would work. I always have the fork on full travel anyway.
