I'm having some issues with the performance of my Rock Shox SID RCT3. With the motion control damper set to Open, the fork feels over damped and and too "stiff". I.e. I don't get full travel and the fork is not smooth over fast bumpy terrain.
I'm even running lower than recommended pressure, like around 90psi in the positive and negative chamber, and I weigh 180lbs geared up.
Any suggestions as to what may be going on?
I'd also like to know what the oil volumes should be? I've overhauled my Reba forks in the past, but I can't find the oil volumes for the 29er SID RCT3 fork on SRAM's website.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
