    Replacing 03' Pilot SL, suggestions?

Im riding an 03 Trek fuel 80, doing mostly trail riding with some pretty good singletracks. Is it worth it to replace the pilot with something better, i know this shock doesnt stand up well to new ones. Im looking to spend under 300. Suggestions?

Yes an upgrade would be worth it. What kind of riding do you do? I assume xc if you have a fuel and how much travel does the rear have?

RockShox Tora or Recon with motion control. Third choice would be a closeout Manitou minute 1:00.

Might be able to find an 05 RockShox Reba off ebay for a pretty good price, think pricepoint still has an 05 in stock

    Marz MX Pro w/ETA

I replaced my 04 Pilot on my Fuel 80 with a Marzocci MX Pro w/ETA. It was a bit lighter yet felt leaps and bounds more stable. I felt the Pilot was like using toothpicks for a fork, very fragile. But I ride a Prophet now with a Lefty so the Fuel just sits in the garage.

oh, the MX Pro was only $249 last year from Pricepoint.
