New question here. Removing lowers on MX Comp Coil

I have an '04 or '04 Marzocchi MX Comp Coil (85mm if it matters) and I need to remove the lowers to have them powdercoated. Does anyone have a quick tutorial on how to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

I dont have a MX but the Marz forks seem to be the same very moto like. On the bottom you should see two 12mm nuts slightly recessed in the lowers. As you can see there is no room for a socket unless it is very thin, I modified a T-handled 12mm wrench to fit. Loosen these nuts first then remove the top caps, if you have air or pre-load release them both before removing caps, empty the fork fluid out stroking forks slowly to bleed all passages of fluid. Put the fork on a bench and remove the nut from the bottom this will allow the lowers to separate from the inner tubes. Lift up the dust covers and you should see a seal retaining clip, remove the clip to remove the seal.
