Recon Silver Motion Control Upgrade Oil Level

Search function being down and all I figured I'd just make a new thread...Looking to get rid of the TK damper in my Recon Silver 29er. I understand that the Argyle MoCo works but how many cc's do I need in the damper? SRAM chart shows 133cc for TK and 130-143cc for Argyle RC/RCT. Thoughts/previous experience? Thanks

What's critical is the height of the oil (you want the level to be just at the top of the bottom cap of the MoCo where the shims are hidden). This can be figured out by measuring the height of the MoCo to that point, then adding oil to that height in the tube.

When you insert the MoCo then you'll feel it hit the oil and resist being inserted the last 1/8 inch or so (plus the thread height when you screw it in).

Or someone could measure the height in their Rev or Argyle and it'd be the same...
