Reba RL dust seal slides up on left leg

Hey everyone, not sure if this is a big problem, but I noticed this weekend that the dust seal on my left leg on my reba rl is sliding up whenever the fork is in motion. I looked at the oiled spacing between the area where the dust seal should close and I saw that it piled up a good amount of dust and dirt. I tried cleaning it out a little bit, but the dust steal didn't fully go into the fork.

    1. Will I need to get a flathead or something to force the dust seal in? It seems pretty hard to make it lock in.

    2. Will I need to apply new oil after cleaning out dust and dirt?

    Thanks.

ideally you should do a lower leg service, there are vids on youtube on the sram/rs service channel.

i have found that having too much oil in the lower leg can cause the seals to pop up, i wonder if your fork was serviced recently and too much oil was added? i would be surprised if too much was added at the factory as they usually scrimp on oil...

Oil migration past the damper seals for the right leg. Air migration from air spring to lowers can pressurize the the left leg.

I noticed the same thing on my Reba Race last year. I talked to a shop about it and they suggested service on it. So, I am contemplating sending it to Push and opting for the performance tuning since I'm sitting at 225 lbs now and think they can tune it way better than me...

I tried pushing it back into the tube without luck either.
