    Rear Shock eyelet size

Does anyone know if late model (2012-13) Manitou Radium Expert eylets are the same size as the eyelets on a 2010 or later Fox Float RP2?

I have a chance to buy a slightly used Radium at a really good price (think under $50) and thought is might be a good purchase to get me back on the bike while my Fox Float is being Pushed, but I have only the original bushings.

Its driving me nuts (maybe its driving me sane) to have my bike disassembled and unrideable, and the Push folks tell me that I need to et my shock rebuilt every year or so, so it could buying the Radium could be a good acquisition as a spare -- if it fits. It is the right length.

Any Manitou rear shock 2011 or newer uses the same 1/2'' bushings as Fox. 2010 and previous uses 12mm bushings instead. If the shock is a 2012 or 2013, your hardware will swap with no issues

It's always good to have a spare shock especially if you only have one bike

That's what I decided. I bought it. Had to pay more than I thought, but that's OK, it was mounted and removed -- never ridden. It was the wrong size.

I mailed the Float to PUSH. They seem to be great folks to talk to. It gives you confidence that you have done the right thing.

Funny thing -- last week, I rode a bunch of miles, and, as usual, never gave one thought to the rear shock. It just never dawned on me that it could bring my MTB riding to a screeching halt. That's never going to happen again.

    Thanks to everybody.
