Question about strait 1 1/8th fork.

My forks finally blew on my Spark 29er and I am second guessing what size the tube is, I thought that it would be 1 1/8th all the way however when I pulled out the calipers I got 1 1/8th on the top of the tube and 1 6/32 on the very bottom, fattest part of the tube. Shouldn't the whole tube be 1 1/8th? I do not know the model of my frame it just says spark 29er it has 100mm of travel both front and rear. The fork is a rockshox XC 32 TK. I am looking to replace with a XC 30 fork just want to make sure the 1 1/8th will fit.

The crown race presses onto the bottom of the steerer so the steerer is a little bit fatter there.
    Do the math.
