really quick question that might be general or specific based on how you classify it. I am upgrading the spring in my rockshox xc30 from the medium red which is good for 160-180 pound range to one that accomedates for more weight, rockshox is currently back ordered on the blue firm which is good for 180-200, but they do have the x-firm black which is good for 200-220.
I float at around 195-200depending on how well my wife has fed me for the week and i ride with a pack quite often which probably add a bit more weight, generally speaking do you want to be on the low end of the suggested weight for the spring or the high end?
They will not have the firm blue spring in till september, though it is only a $30 part i am looking for some opinions on this. Currently with my Red medium spring i have the preload maxed out and desire more.
