Prep M grease or Motorex grease 2000 in Skareb Super?

May I use Motorex grease 2000 instead of Prep M grease (prep M is manufactured by Motorex too) in Skareb Super 2004? I mean threads and o-rings. I have learnt that a liitle bit of grease should be used there (o-ring and threads). I guess they are pretty the same, but still afraid if motorex grease 2000 could harm seals/rubber.

    Motorex grease:

    Prep M:

Another questrion by the way :
Should I remove and reinstal air piston when servicing Skareb for the first time ? (the air chamber oils seems to be pretty clear).??

The grease should be fine for threads and O-rings. You said you checked the oil on top of the air piston. That's probably good enough.

ok I have telephoned manitou service and they suggested prep M for fork's o-rings , piston, threads, and spring as it is a better solution for "traveling parts" . Other greases may make the forks much stiffer
