    Marzocchi Z-3 Drop-Off Bomber replacements

    http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/B...Comp&Type=bike

I picked this bicycle up recently. The front fork stanchions are scraped, the oil is gurgling when it pulls back up and the lowers are scratched up. It is the Marzocchi Z-3 drop off bombers with a thru axle. I considered rebuilding the shocks to get them back into shape but I'm not sure if, at the end of the day, it would be a better decision economically to put that money towards a new suspension fork. Ideally I do not want to put much money into this bike.

What is a good direct replacement of my current fork, either new or used, under $200-300?

The visible stanchions on the bike are 140mm long. What sort of travel should I be looking at to retain the same geometry.
