    Marzocchi EXR PRO AIR need advice on rim brakes

    I bought an EXR PRO air shock at a garage sale to replace my blown out/broken Manitou Spyder R.

    My front wheel is rim brake only.

    Brake posts are very recessed on EXR PRO and fork does not have spring holder.
    I have a coda cantilever, it doesn't fit because arm touches fork stanchion tubes
    I tried a Paul V brake, it doesn't fit either, brake pad hardware touches fork tubes

    I am thinking of backing the posts out and adding washers until one of these brakes can fit... this seems unusual, so the question are:

    Is there a special rim brake for this Marzocchi EXR PRO air fork?
    or
    Is there a special brake post for this fork ?

    you need the long marzochi posts. they are much longer than normal ones

    Call Marzocchi tech support....they'll get you what you need.
