Marzocchi EXR PRO AIR need advice on rim brakes

I bought an EXR PRO air shock at a garage sale to replace my blown out/broken Manitou Spyder R.

My front wheel is rim brake only.

Brake posts are very recessed on EXR PRO and fork does not have spring holder.
I have a coda cantilever, it doesn't fit because arm touches fork stanchion tubes
I tried a Paul V brake, it doesn't fit either, brake pad hardware touches fork tubes

I am thinking of backing the posts out and adding washers until one of these brakes can fit... this seems unusual, so the question are:

Is there a special rim brake for this Marzocchi EXR PRO air fork?
    or
Is there a special brake post for this fork ?

    thanks,

    JP

Call Marzocchi tech support....they'll get you what you need.
It's not about speed, it's about lack of control.
