My 55 ETA '08 slowly leaks air. I was informed by marzocchi service in my country (Poland) that there are only three options: 1) air valve inside ETA cartridge , 2) ETA cartridge top cap not sufficiently tightened, 3) bottom screw in ETA leg not sufficiently tightened.
1) I checked air valve (spill some water on top) and it seems OK, no air bulbs coming;
2) I checked ETA cartridge top cap, it was not suficiently tightened, so I tightened it. Air is leaking now MUCH SLOWER but still LEAKS, which drives my crazy, damn fork. I need to pump air after ca. 50 -75 km (30 - 45 miles). I have an impression that this ETA cartrige top cap is slowly untightening while driving - has someone noticed the same??? I tried to wipe any oil from cap thread, maybe it will help,
3) I checked bottom screw - seems ok, it's tightened, but it's still a little bit lose - I don't know if it's correct or not - should it be hardly screwed?
HAS SOMEONE GOT ANY IDEA WHAT SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM?
