I have a '98 Manitou X-Vert R and it's missing the left lower damper rod bolt, adjuster knob and o-ring. Hayes/Answer/Manitou no longer makes them but they were apparently used on other older Manitou's. All I can confirm is they were used on 2001 Mars and 2001 SX forks. If anyone has these parts or one of these older forks laying around for parts, I'd be interested in purchasing them from you to get those specific parts I need.
If it helps, here are the Manitou part desc and numbers:
O-RING, DROPOUT NUT (040688)
DAMPER DROPOUT. NUT (041823) (hollow bolt that holds the lower leg to the damper rod - I believe it's m12 x 1.00)
DAMPER ADJUSTER. KNOB (041408) (goes through the Damper Dropout Nut to adjust the rebound)
A link to the exploded view is here and the parts are shown on p. 6: http://hjulcompaniet.com/tech/docs/pdf/Manitou/1999/X-Vert%20Owner's%20Manual%20(scanned).pdf
I know it's old but it looks cool, still works, and I want to put it on an extra bike.
