    Kashima Coating on Fox Fork

I'm going to make a dumb assumption that if you've got the coating on your fork, it says it. Right?
My bike was supposed to have a Kashima coated fork but I don't see any indication on the fork and the stanchion tubes are different from the Kashima labeled rear shock.

    Thanks,

Yup, you will see the Kashima gold coating and the logo on anything sold as such.

2011 had Kashima with no logo, 2012 has Geniune Kashima laser etched on the stanchions.

my 2011 and 12 have it, if it is a OEM fork, some of them have the coating with no logo.

None of the first generation lighter looking Kashima forks had the logo on the stanchion, aftermarket or OE. None.
