Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! Help! Pike 454 Dual air issues!

Hi there! I have a 2007 pike 454 dual air, and have loved it, but recently gotten into dj, and decided to lower it to 110 mm instead of 140. but now, it seems as if my positive air is leaking into my negative air, and it is happening at a disturbingly fast rate, like 75 psi in 15 min. wtf is going on! I cant figure it out, and I would love some help!
Here are the details of how i lowered it.
Took is all apart, got just the air piston out.
Put a steel tubing in, and surrounded it with rubber hose seals, then put it back in. Now there is a small hole in the piston that i covered up, didn't know if that was a problem or not. Plz help. any info would be great.

I dont think you can cover that hole up. I would remove your home made spacer and see if the fork works properly.
Maybe you damaged the O ring when you took it apart? Did you put new lubricating oil in the top of the air piston (3-5ml)?
If you need o rings i have complete sets for sale in the classified section. I may also have a spacer or two lying around. Let me know.

Replace the air spring o-rings and buy an oem lowering kit. Inspect the air spring piston for damage they can lose a roll pin and kill the internal stanchion walls or even your steel spacer.

no. Just air chambers. You need an o ring set to properly rebuild the fork. Let me know if you want to buy them from me, i have them in stock for 22USD shipped and this gives you o rings foe both the air side and teh motion control side. In fact, you get two sets of each.
