I need a fork and was planning on an '05 Reba but I saw that Jensen deal on the '05 Vanilla R. I want a sub 4 lbs fork and if I get the Vanilla R I'll put the cash difference in other components to make up any weight difference. What I'd like to know is if the Reba is superior for XC and what "PUSH" is for the Vanilla. Is the 130mmm vs 115mm that big a deal. Is a "PUSH" conversion an option? I'm building up a light FS with 4-4.5" travel in the rear for XC use. Which fork would you get?
I'll be searching the forums to try and help me make up my mind but if anyone has opinions on the 2 against each other I'd like to hear them.
