I'm looking to buy a fork, and came across the above mentioned used Fox for just a wee bit more expensive than a new Manitou Match Comp.
Coming from a rigid fork, I don't have much experience with forks but from reading up on the topic, it seems like the Fox Vanilla is the more durable and better fork overall.
Anyway, the owner says that the fork is 2011 RLC version with FIT damper. Is there any way to check if it is indeed a 2011 version? I googled for a Fox Vanilla 32 2011 with the FIT damper and RLC adjustments but could only find the 2010 version. Another thread mentioned that Fox discontinued the Fox Vanilla 32 / 140 in 2011.
Looking to knock a bit off the asking price if so, considering it has been in use for a year longer at least.
Thanks in advance.
