New question here. Fox Talas RLC Fit 32 110/140mm Swapping Lowers from 150mm counterpart?

Hi, I have a 2011 Fox Talas RLC Fit (32) with 110/140mm travel and 9mm dropouts. The dropouts are giving me issues as they move around too much under climbing and braking (200mm Formula R1's etc). So I'd like to go to the 15mm thou-bolt lowers.

I am wondering if I can buy a 2011 150mm TALAS RL with 15mm Throu-Bolt QR and use the lowers from that to get the 140mm fork converted to 15mm TB?? Or is there going to be a problem with the travel? I can use the old uppers and all the internals of the 140mm TALAS RLC FIT from the 140mm fork I assume? (basically just utilize the lowers from a 150mm fork in a 140mm fork)

If so, the next question is, can most Fox air spring 150mm lowers be used in place of 140mm air spring lowers?

    Thanks for any help.

Just wanted to mention what I found out: The lowers differ a little between 150 and 140mm, apparently the travel would have "issues". I'm not sure how exactly as that was not clarified, I guess I would bottom out with the 140mm uppers without extra shims inside.

So the part to get for that conversion is: 820-00-538-KIT 2011 32 130-140 Lower Assy, 15QR, Web, Black

Going to the Fox support page the lowers part numbers are indeed different between each year and 140/150mm.

If your old lowers are black would be interested to buy if you do go ahead with planned upgrade.

    Thanks

Ok, if you are still interested, they are black with some sticker pinching from using a speed sensor and fender (all with plastic ties). One dropout is 6.6mm thick (brake side) and other is 7.5mm. No hose mount would be supplied (but the hole is there of course)

Old dust wipers/seals would be included, but they are certainly worn.

    $55 shipped.
