    Fox rear shock lockout

I am looking at a 2012 Fuel 7 with a fox rear shock. When I turned the lever to lockout it would still move. I thought that it would stop all movement in the shock. Am I wrong in this assumption or is the shock defective?

    Re: Fox rear shock lockout

Fox makes a lot of rear shocks. Most without a lock out. What model is it?

If it is the RP 2 that they show on their website then it has no lock out.

If the shock is an DRCV RP2 then it doesn't have a lockout. It has Propedal which is a form of LSC that increases dampning to a set level based on the shock's tune.

Fox Performance Series Float RP-2 w/DRCV, ProPedal, rebound; 7.252.0″, tuned by Trek in California
Ok, that makes sense keen because it did stiffen up with the flip of the switch. What does LSC stand for.

    LSC - low speed compression.

Ok, thanks for the information. It certainly eased my mind as I thought the shock was bad. And that comes already set from the factory so I will not have any control over it?
