fox pump on rock shox fork???

i feel dumb. am i the only who has a difficult time getting a proper seal on a rock shox fork with a fox pump? the valve head on the RS fork is more recessed than on my fox fork so the pump head doesn't get down far enough. rrrrrrgghh

fox pump on rock shox fork???

The EXACT problem I had. Purchased a Topeak pump and it works great. I find I lose less air on removing it from the shock too.

fox pump on rock shox fork???

It's the Topeak pocketshock DXG. It has a longer barrel that threads on the stem. It's been working great for me. I think I ordered it through Competitive Cyclist but I don't remember for sure. Ive seen it online lots of places. It has a pretty cool feature that let's you disconnect it without losing hardly any pressure.
