Fox Propedal compression tune confusion ?

I always thought the shock tune listed on the Fox float was an across the board compression & rebound setting. I came across this in a Fox manual : FLOAT R . Basically I wondered if a Float R (2010 model) had a fixed level of Propedal. I called Fox and they said the Float R had no level of Propedal even though the sticker lists PP ???

    What sticker shows PP?

Anyway Propedal is just a Fox term for adjustable compression damping, no? If correct then the Float R has no PP per se, but rather a set compression tune (which they do not refer to as PP, I guess).

Simply put PP is user adjustable compression damping, the Float R has no adjustable compression damping, so no PP. At least that's my interpretation.

Zoom in on the second picture - PP sticker. I have seen this sticker on Float R - RP23.

I have had the float r "pro pedal" shock off my anthem x apart and it definitely uses the Belleville washers in the compression stack which is how fox achieve their platform (propedal) valving. So yes, it does have propedal, it just isn't adjustable on-the-fly with a lever.
