Fox oils 10w, Green vs Red?

OK, so just curious here, according to what I've been able to find it's said the difference between these two "10w" oils is that one has more anti-foaming agents, which is the red one to be used in the damper. Now my question is, wouldn't you want to reduce foaming everywhere you can in the fork, even if only when it's to lube the stanchions etc? Is what I've stated the truth and that's the only difference between the 2 versions? Did a service on my F34 today, but we don't have easy access to such things as Fox oil down here so substituted hydraulic jack/suspension 10w oil instead, anyone think there could be an issue with seals?

Think the green doubles as lube and suspension fluid for the open bath type
