    fox float rp3 schrader valve

are there replacements available and can a reasonably competent home mechanic replace? Mine exploded today. schrader valve exited the shock body, very hostile. have yet to find the valve. Fox was closed today so figured I would try to get an idea here so I can relax. First day off in a long time friday and I am antsy to ride. hoping I can somewhat easily replace the valve and carry on without having to ship back to fox. thanks

call these guys 2morrow, they sweat a lot of the small stuff. They had spacers for a Fox shock so go figure.

Get a standard automotive shrader valve from an auto parts store.

I had the same issue and use a old Schrader valve from old bike tube. Been over a year and no issues.

Are the threads still ok inside the valve? Was it just the core that blew out? If it is just the valve core then any old tube you have will have a core that you can steal. You will need a valve core tool which is cheap and available at any auto parts store. If the threads are damaged then it will require a bit more work.
