    Fox Float RP3 On Blur LT1 Touching the Bottom of Mount?

    Hey Everyone,

    New Biker here.

    I picked up a 2006 SC Blur LT1.
    Everything looks pretty good on it... But the one thing that has me a little troubled is the rear shock looks like its hitting the bottom of where it's mounted when returning from compression stroke.
    There appears to be no play, when the shock returns from from the compression stroke it's accompanied by a small "Knock", which is the bottom of the shock hitting the mounting body.

    Is this normal behavior or should I do something about this.

    I attached a pic so you can see what I mean;

    Thanks in advance everyone!

    No knowledge at all about Santa Cruz bikes but that linkage looks to be the wrong way round to me. If the curved edge was to front it might give more clearance for shock as it would curve away from shock instead of being straight up and down.

    Just found a pic that could confirm this,

    There's every possibility that it's been taken apart and re-assembled wrongly in the past.

    Thanks for the reply.
    I think you're right, because he said he rebuilt the rear suspension.

    No problem. Glad to help. Hopefully it'll be a relatively easy fix now.
