Fox 34 Float CTD Fit weird noise in descent

    Hi All,
I recently purchased a Yeti SB66c which came with the Fox 34 Float CTD Fit 26 trail adjust and it seems to be making a weird noise when it is in descent mode. It gets a lot louder and it is almost like a spring noise. My friend recently got a new bike also and had the same fork. His does not make this sound. Anyone experience this? When in trail mode the fork sounds normal. But as soon as I switch it to descent it makes that noise.

I am having the same issue, especially after changing the oil for the first time in my 2014 Factory Float 29er 140mm 34. While the oil change vastly improved how smooth the fork runs, I have to add a lot more air that I was running with the initial factory setup.

I have always serviced my own bike and components with a high level of precision and I am thinking this may not be correct. It really only happens when the fork is ramping up later in the travel, but it distinctly sounds like a spring. I also have to run faster rebound by about 20% as opposed to before the oil change.

    Anyone have any suggestions?
