    Domain RC -- adjust floodgate

The Domain RC comes with no external floodgate adjustment. Is it possible to adjust the floodgate setting internally?

    According the Rockshox website -

External rebound, low speed compression with Floodgate fixed at high threshold, Internal Preload -

Unfortunately there is no adjustment possible on the floodgate.

There is a thread about adjusting the integrated speed stack, but the pictures no longer show up, so its not as helpful as it once was.

The pictures still show up in masnumata's gallery - masnumata Gallery photos from the Mtbr Mountain Bike Photo Gallery

There ya go, between the thread and pictures, you might be able to make it feel better. Adjusting the floodgate, no. Making the MoCo IS damper not feel like crap, yes.

I removed the speedstack shims as per the post and the fork feels a-lot more supple to me. I'm 200 lbs on an extra heavy spring with silkolene 7.5 weight oil inside. Fork feels pretty darn good for what it is (simple port-orafice damper). I do not notice too much brake dive or bobbing when pedaling and the compression adjuster still operates properly.
