    debunking the XLOC myth.....

Just picked up and installed a 2010 Revelation XX for my titus motolite. If any of you have wondered about the compatibility of the XLOC hydraulic remote, wonder no more.

I placed a call to SRAM and they told me it would only workwith the new XX groupo (levels and shifters specifically). White it would work optimally with that system, it can be mounted on any ol' bar.

Good lad, great to see, been wondering this myself. Forks look mega, can't wait till they're released in the UK.

    Thanks for posting.

    Sweet ride by the way.

Anybody else running Xloc w/out Avid brakes? I want to run XLoc with Formula R1's and would like to see some other setups w/out Avid brakes.

    Thanks!

I am running an XX reba on my single speed, with XT m775 brakes. what I did was mounted it second in line and upside down. No issues what so ever. I will get a picture to show.

sorry for the delay, I had to get out and ride before it got HOT.

I highly prefer this orientation over the way your supposed to mount it. much less in your face, much more ergonomic IMO.

    Very cool.

If I ever make the leap to 1x10, I'm going to get a right hand lockout and duplicate your setup on the left side.

Now I just have to figure out how to fit everything in..

I like my brakes run far inboard, so I'll probably set it up w/ the XLoc first, then the R1's and X.0 shifters together on a mixmaster.

Thanks again. Anybody else out there do something similar?
